WRITING
I cannot remember precisely when I started to write, but I must have been very young. It always seemed easier to put words on paper than to share my thoughts out loud. After years of keeping those lines in drawers, I was ready to share them with the outside world and decided to get published. I now see each moment of life as an experience to partake in. In our lives, we encounter common themes, like love, loss, happiness, or misery. The details might be different, but the feelings are universal. Honestly, I am trying to remember where the idea of this play came from or when, but I really cannot tell. However, I admit it had been sitting in my desk drawers for a while. The premises are simple, and my inspiration from vaudeville is evident. Noises Off is one of my favorite plays, and if you've seen it, you can guess what makes me laugh. Colette is a 50-year-old woman, married and satisfied. However, she always wanted to have a foursome. We follow her on her adventures as she tries to find three male partners for her "game of bridge." Prepare yourself for misunderstandings, innuendos, and ambiguous situations that will make you laugh out loud.

Initially, I had not planned to write a French version of the collection. Then I realized that it would be nice for my mom to be able to read a book her son had published. By the same token, other family members and my French-speaking friends could also enjoy my work.
This first collection of poems outlined a journey across time and space, spanning a lifetime and several continents. I have lived in different countries and traveled the world in the last three decades, discovering what binds us together as one people on this globe. I talk about love, heartache, resilience, overcoming hard times, and liberating myself from self-imposed limits. These are tales about my family, blooming love, lost love, healing, and finding meaning and my place in this world. You will find a bit of myself in each of these texts, and I hope you can also find a bit of yourself since we experience the same joys, pains, and questions.
